On his latest single “Changes,” Miguel Alonso, otherwise known as Mike Alrue, is stepping down from his comfort zone to release a beautifully poetic and powerful guitar-ballad to accompany the sublime vocals he performs with grace. The international composer who has composed an incredible amount of musical pieces, among which thousands of jingles for advertisements, multiple albums including “Logos”, “Vida Nueva”, “Tales from the Piano”, “Light Years”, “Tomorrow Found Me Dreaming” and “Monsoon.”

Born in Spain before moving to Mexico with his family at the age of thirteen years old, Mike Alrue also composed movie and documentary soundtracks, among which the score of the animated series “Captain Cousteau,” a dream come true for the artist who is also a passionate aficionado of scuba diving.  

From classic music and acoustic rock to new age, ethnic, jazz, classical, and contemporary gospel, Mike Alrue can and has composed music belonging anywhere within these extremely different genres, which makes him  an unbelievable artist capable of undertaking almost any kind of musical projects.
