Sharon Van Etten’s album Epic just turned 10 this week. But today, she’s looking back to a different era. In 2015, Van Etten dropped I Don’t Want To Let You Down, an EP of five songs that didn’t make it onto her 2014 LP Are We There, and she released its title track on a 7-inch single with the B-side “All Over Again.” She’s played “All Over Again” live before, but it’s never been available digitally. That changes today.
“My 7” ‘I Don’t Want To Let You Down’ had a b-side that was never digitally released — until today,” Van Etten wrote on Instagram today. “‘All Over Again’ is a deeply personal song written during the Are We There sessions. Broken hearted years ago and driven to find true love, it’s hard to believe I was ever there when I look back now from such a fulfilled space. I’m humbled to share yet another vulnerable moment with you.” Listen to it below.
