Rap veteran Busta Rhymes has released a new album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath Of God, a sequel of sorts to his 1998 album E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front. It was announced back in August with an introduction from Chris Rock and we’ve already heard the Vybz Kartel and J-Doe featuring single “The Don And The Boss” and the Anderson .Paak-featuring single “YUUUU.”
True to Rhymes’ renown, the thing is absolutely stuffed with guest stars. He’s got Kendrick Lamar on “Look Over Your Shoulder,” Mariah Carey on “Where I Belong,” the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard on “Slow Flow,” Q-Tip on “Don’t Go,” and there’s also appearances from Rick Ross, Rapsody, Mary J. Blige, Nikki Grier, Bell Biv Devoe, Rakim, Pete Rock, M.O.P., and Louis Farrakhan.
