After being a finalist in multiple musical competitions in Québec, such as La Voix 6, Yann pleased his audience by releasing two tracks in French “Mission Commando” and “Dangereuse.” But now, he is coming back with a release that sets his own bar level even higher than anything we’ve seen before by the skilled artist.
With a brand-new artistic identity that stands out from current pop music, Yann released his latest single, “Overnight,” a song entirely recorded by himself during the quarantine, with every instrument except the drums recorded separately using only his mouth.
By just making guitar chords and other sounds only with his voice and using his own hands for the claps, Yann came up with the idea that the sound is great which later resulted in highly interesting organic beats that he mixed with an electronic bass to give it more depth. Within a few hours, he created the song “Overnight”, a mesmerizing single filled with an uplifting vibe and groovy mood.
