The RZA and Ghostface battle for equality on their new collaboration inspired by the upcoming film, Cut Throat City.
Over the Abbott’s cinematic production, RZA tackles racial injustice and oppression with his opening verse. Ghostface narrates a tale of a criminal who adapts to a life of crime during the current state of affairs.
The track is taken from the soundtrack to the RZA-directed film, Cut Throat City, which premieres Friday, August 21. The film is based on four individuals pulling off a height in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. It stars Shameik Moore, T.I., Demetrius Shipp Jr., Kat Graham, Wesley Snipes, Terrence Howard, Eiza González and Ethan Hawke.
