Cozz is very “Fortunate” with his new release.
After taking a few years off, Dreamville’s Cozz makes his return with his new single, “Fortunate”. The track is produced by Cedric Brown, T-Minus, Kurzweil, and J. Cole.
Experimenting with a melodic flow, the L.A. rapper reflects on his come up, recalls a near-death experience, and counts his blessings.
The accompanying video depicts Cozz riding through the city and waking up from a car wreck. From there, he steps inside a church where he says his prayers before the clip ends with him lying lifeless in the arms of Mother Mary.
This marks his first release since his 2018 album Effected and 2019’s Dreamville compilation, Revenge Of The Dreamers III.
