Wizkid and Tems bring the “Essence” to The Tonight Show.
Wizkid and Tems closed out Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (Dec. 7) with a virtual performance of this year’s hit single, “Essence”.
From inside a massive and empty arena full of blue lights, a dazzling Tems and a mink-draped Wizkid lit the stage while their performance was projected behind them.
“Essence” is off Wizkid’s 2020 album, Made in Lagos. The platinum single hit No. 1 on the Billboard 100 charts making it the first Nigerian song ever to top the charts.
