Ahead of his Surf Or Drown album, Hit-Boy links with Nas for “The Tide”, the latest offering off Hit’s forthcoming project.
Directed by ThirdEyeRaz, the frequent collaborators trade bars from inside an art gallery featuring a cameo from Hit-Boy’s son. The visual also captures Esco and Hit working their magic in the studio, turning up inside a tour bus, and taking the stage at Madison Square Garden for Nas’ recent sold-out concert.
“Imagine seeing Tupac body on IG / How they did PnB, how they did Takeoff / They’ll take a hundred years to prove to niggas they ain’t soft,” raps Hit-Boy, while God’s Son delivers an ill verse. “Four seasons in Costa Rica, she pretty as Mona Lisa / Yelling at me on the yacht, fuckin’ my inner peace up,” raps Nas.
Hit-Boy’s Surf Or Drown arrives this Friday (Mar. 24) which will include other features from the likes of Dom Kennedy, Curren$y, The Alchemist, James Fauntleroy, and more.
