Roc Nation and Jamla’s Reuben Vincent takes a trip down memory lane in the video to his latest single, “Grand Cherry”.
Directed by 12 and Timmy, the Charlotte rapper takes it back to the basics with an introspective look at life and friends.
“Pray ‘fore I sleep, sow what I reap, rose from the ‘crete,” he raps from out of his Grand Cherokee and a parking lot with the homies. “I need all flowers ‘fore I leave / I need protection, power and the peace / Don’t be afraid, you created a G.O.D.”
“Grand Cherry” is the follow-up to his previous Humble Beast and off Vincent’s upcoming follow-up to this year’s debut, Love Is War.
