Action Bronson has been teasing Planet Frog, the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2024 LP Johann Sebastian Bachlava The Doctor. In a move that perfectly captures his eccentric and larger-than-life persona, the Queens rapper officially announced the project through a unique appearance on the legendary game show Wheel Of Fortune.
In a melodramatic promotional clip shared across social media, Bronson stepped into the role of a game show contestant. With the assistance of Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, the rapper navigated the familiar set to solve a puzzle that revealed the album’s title: Planet Frog. The announcement was punctuated by the appearance of a “magical dolphin” in the audience, adding a surreal touch to the reveal.
The upcoming record features an impressive production lineup, including contributions from Harry Fraud, Daringer, Human Growth Hormone, and Bronson himself. Fans can expect the full project to arrive this Friday, May 8.
Planet Frog includes the previously released single “Triceratops,” which features collaborations with Lil Yachty and Paul Wall. The track has already garnered critical acclaim, earning a spot as one of the best songs of the week. The album also boasts a diverse array of guest appearances, including verses from Yung Mehico, Julian Love, and Roc Marciano.
Beyond the music, Bronson continues to expand his creative endeavors. As part of his ongoing Chumbeh series, he is set to host a special dinner album event on May 17, which he has teased as a “very special and psychological one.”
