After “Hold,” released earlier this year, Seekay has already returned with a new track, “Fall.” The British pop artist has gotten us used to his magnificent style of electro-pop, home to the most subtle poetry, whether he talks about love on “Hold,” or about depression and suicide on “Fall.” In reality, it was very difficult for him to come up with the songwriting for “Fall,” because the person going through depression which resulted as a suicide was one fo his closest friends who passed away. Several years of healing were needed for Seekay to be able to put his thoughts down on paper, and despite the sad and melancholic feel of “Fall,” we are more than happy the song is finally released. His partner in crime, the vocalist Chloe has poured her entire soul and array of emotions on the track, giving it a feminine energy that elevates the spirit of the song even higher than anything we could have imagined. The most beautiful thing is that despite the struggle and the sad events Seekay describes as being the trigger for this song’s creation, he wrote it to reach someone going through such issues, and maybe, only maybe, save his or her life.
