Lil Tjay makes his triumphant return, but never forgets on his third studio album, 222.
Inspired by the date of the Bronx native’s near-death experience, the True To Myself rapper recalls the shooting on “June 22” and hurdling over life’s struggles on “Project Walls” featuring NBA YoungBoy. The album’s release also comes alongside the music video for “Stressed” featuring Summer Walker.
Other guests who make an appearance on the 15-track set include Fivio Foreign, Coco Jones, and The Kid Laroi. Jadakiss makes a cameo “Hole In My Heart”, while Polo G assists with “Beat The Odds Part 2”, the follow-up to last year’s post-shooting release, “Beat The Odds“.
222 is the follow-up to the Bronx rapper 2021 album, Destined 2 Win.
