The trade continues.
Smoke DZA and producer Flying Lotus re-up their “Drug Trade” with Black Thought with its sequel featuring Benny The Butcher.
Over FlyLo’s same instrumental, DZA kicks off their “Drug Trade Pt. 2” with a new opening verse.
“One time for the transpose sending me shit / All this assembly lit, ducking penalties and felony risks / They still trying to take the West Coast trips / To get the packs, not knowing they gon spend way more to bring it back,” he raps, while Benny chimes in.
“You don’t open up the safe with a remote, knock it off / I got a soap opera broad who do coke but don’t shop at Ross,” raps Benny, before Black Thought’s original verse follows.
The original “Drug Trade” appears on DZA and Flying Lotus’s collaborative EP, Flying Objects. “Drug Trade Pt. 2” will be including project’s forthcoming follow-up, More Flying Objects.
