Canadian band Suns of July has released a brand new song and music video entitled, “Beautiful You Are.” As they are known for all their hard work and dedication in fighting for such a good cause, Toronto-based musicians focused their attention on the problem of bullying. 

The music video for “Beautiful You Are” displays stories of students who are bullied at schools for many different reasons, such as their physical appearance, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and the fact that they do well at school. Suns of July empower all the kids who are picked on and send them a simple, yet powerful message: you are all beautiful. 

This heartwarming yet effective single fulfills two compelling messages. First, it tells kids to love themselves for who they are, to be kind to their fellow peers and not to be scared to ask for help. Secondly, it has a great quality blend of indie, pop, elegant melodies, and great lyricism which differentiates Suns of July from many bands alike in the music field.
