Lakeyah acts up at Hot 97 with her Funk Flex freestyle
Still hot off the release of her My Time release, Lakeyah was put in the hot seat for Funkmaster Flex’ latest freestyle session.
With Quality Control Music’s CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas looking on, the young Milwaukee rapper coasted over the City Girl’s “Act Up” with a cocky flow and her witty bars. “Bitch want smoke, no Biggie. ‘Cause every song I drop is a bop— no Diddy,” spit the 20-year-old.
Last month, Lakeyah released Gangsta Grillz mixtape, My Time, which featured 11 tracks including “Reason” and collaborations from the likes of Tyga, Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, OG Parker, DJ Drama, and more.
