In honor of Nipsey Hussle’s 35th birthday (August 15), Snoop Dogg releases a heartfelt tribute to his late friend.
On the soulful ode, Uncle Snoop covers Dorothy Moore’s 1976 hit “Misty Blue”, alternating excerpts of the song to “Nipsey Blue”. The matching visual, which features archive clips of the two, finds Snoop riding in his Chevy and visiting Nipsey’s mural.
Last year, Snoop released his previous tribute to Nipsey with “One Blood, One Cuz” off his I Wanna Thank Me album. Nipsey Hussle was killed outside his Marathon Clothing in South Central, Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. Long live Nipsey Hussle.
