Tobe Nwigwe kept late night viewers woke and full on Wednesday (Feb. 24) with two epic performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
On a minty exhibition display, the Houston musician gave a televised performance of his magnificent cover of “Wake Up Everybody” alongside a band and choir.
The cover is off ESPN’s The Undefeated compilation, Black History Always – Music For The Movement Vol. 2 dropping at midnight (Feb. 26). The five-track EP also features Brent Faiyaz, Freddie Gibbs, Tinashe, and Infinity Song.
Turning things up a notch, Tobe Nwigwe brought his wife Fat on stage for their energetic collaboration “EAT” off his most recent and critically-acclaimed LP, Cincoriginals.
