Hit-Boy keeps it in the family for the second installment of his Surf Or Drown series featuring his father, Big Hit.
Surf Or Drown 2 finds the rap father-and-son duo reunited and recollecting everything from their trials and tribulations to their success. The 10-track set features the previously released “Reckless & Ratchet“, “Wake Your Game Up“, “More 4 Me“, “Show Me“, “Tony Fontana 4“, and “Grindin’ My Whole Life Pt. 2“. Meanwhile, Hit-Boy shines all by his lonely on the solo cut, “Sunrise“.
Elsewhere, Hit-Boy reunites with Big Sean on “YKWSF” and then joins forces with his Half-A-Mil partner Dom Kennedy on “Monte Carlo”. Garren also makes an appearance on the track “Show Me”. The album also includes instrumentals of each track.
The collaborative LP is the follow-up to Hit-Boy’s Surf Or Drown album released back in March. Last month, Big Hit was blessed with his newfound freedom after being incarcerated.
