Following the epic battle between The Lox vs. Dipset, Verzuz keeps it in The Big Apple with their latest soundclash, Fat Joe vs. Ja Rule.

From the Bronx to Queens, the Terror Squad and Murder Inc. hitmakers brought their timeless music to the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday (Sep. 14). Joey ran through “All The Way Up”, “Don Cartagena”, “Sunshine”, “I Shot Ya (Remix)”, among others, while Ja countered with “Livin’ It Up”, “Can I Get A…”, “Between Me & You”, “Rainy Dayz”, and more. Fat Joe and Ja Rule performed their early joints (“Flow Joe”), (“Holla Holla”), star-studded collaborations (“John Blaze”), (“Thug Lovin”), classic features (“Twinz (Deep Cover)”, “Ain’t It Funny”), and many more.

Guest appearances throughout the evening included Remy Ma (“Lean Back”), Vita (“Put It On Me”), Lil Mo (“I Cry”), Dre (“YES”), Nelly (“Get It Poppin”), and Ashanti (“What’s Luv?”, “Always On Time”).
