2021 iHeart Music Awards Winners & Performances | Rap Radar

Music’s best was celebrated at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 27). The event was broadcasted live in front of a vaccinated audience.

The ceremony included huge awards along with a star-studded line up of presenters including LL Cool J, Nelly, French Montana, and more. The Weeknd took home Male Artist Of The Year. His hit “Blinding Lights” earned him wins in Best R&B Song, TikTok Bop Of The Year Year, and Titanium Song of the Year. XO also welcomed newly-married Ariana Grande on stage for their first time performance of their chart-topping hit “Save Your Tears”.

Roddy Ricch dominated the rap categories with Hip Hop Artist Of The Year, Best New Hip Hop Artist, and Best Hip Hop Song (“The Box”), while Lil Baby’s My Turn grabbed Hip Hop Album Of The Year and Megan Thee Stallion accepted Best Collaboration for her “Savage (Remix)” featuring Beyonce.

H.E.R. was crowned Female R&B Artist Of The Year and joined Demi Levato for their tribute performance to Elton John. Snoh Aalegra was honored Best New R&B Artist, Jhene Aiko’s Chilombo was named R&B Album Of The Year and Chris Brown and Young Thug “Go Crazy” earned the duo their Best R&B Collaboration.

Other performances included Doja Cat, who won Best New Pop Artist, Usher, and Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak.
