Ciara is on to “Better Thangs” with her new single featuring Summer Walker.

On their carefree anthem, Ciara levitates over hate and moves towards positivity. “Lately, I been living my life / I don’t pay the hate no mind / Doin’ better things with my time, yeah / Elevated to a new height”, she sings on the opening verse, while Summer stays humble singing, “I got grace, put a nigga right in his place. / Ain’t got nothin’ else to say/ ‘Cause I know karma comes around/ So I pray, never waste mental space.” The two previously worked on “Ciara’s Prayer” off Summer’s chart-topping album, Still Over It.

The collaboration arrives following Ciara’s previous “Jump” single featuring Coast Contra, presumably off the forthcoming follow up to her 2019’s Beauty Marks. Meanwhile, Summer’s hot off her scorching feature on “Queen Space” from Ari Lennox’s recent album, age/sex/location.
