In the accompanying black-and-white video directed by Nakato, the Nigerian superstar sings and wines to the Afrobeat groove while referencing moving on from a relationship.
’Cause I’m not an angel / I’m just a girl that knows the truth / And I couldn’t save you / You couldn’t see what I’ve been through,” she sings in a midst of striking scenes, silhouettes, mounted on a bike and laying in bed.
Self-produced by herself and Sarz, “Not An Angel” is the follow up to her previous “Me & U” and are both off Tem’s forthcoming album.
