Ride for me.
Ahead of her debut Overgrown dropping March 19, Joyce Wrice is “On One” with Freddie Gibbs for the matching visuals to their new collaboration.
Dancing with her girls to D’Mile’s nostalgic bop, the Los Angeles songstress falls head over heels for her male interest, before Gibbs pulls up with his gushy verse.
“Working with Freddie was such an honor! I’ve been a fan of his for years so to have him on my album is crazy,” Wrice tells TheFader about the track. “I grew up listening to Mariah Carey and loved how she had rappers on her records so I wanted to do the same for this album. I hit up Freddie on Twitter and I presented the record to him at his studio and he loved it.”
