Don’t sweat the technique.
In celebration of 50 years of hip hop, Sprite Limelight commissions Latto and Rakim on their collaboration, “Technique”.
On the modern day remake of Rakim & Eric B’s 1992 classic, “Don’t Sweat The Technique”, the young Atlanta superstar rocks the mic at party filled with break dancing.
“Tell me when they made it cool to be a hater? / Every year, I’m goin’ bigger, doin’ greater / Got ’em dissing for a spot, I keep it player / Putting on for my city, playing County to Decatur.”
The clip also features an interview with Big Latto and The God MC himself.
The release comes on the heels of Latto’s first No. 1 Billboard 100 hit for her contribution on Jung Kook’s “Seven” and feature on Davido’s “Unbelievable (Remix)” with Musa Keys.
