The Weeknd exhales with ease on his new single, “Take My Breath”, the first off his forthcoming album, The Dawn.
On the synth-heavy tune, XO croons the joys and excitement of a love affair. The Cliqua-directed clip centers the singer attending a party full of strobe lights where he is lured by a female for a romantic encounter before she literally takes his breath away.
The video was set to debut during IMAX screenings of The Suicide Squad in theaters, however IMAX pulled the clip beforehand over concerns of viewers with epilepsy.
