In celebration of the 5th anniversary of their collaborative album Mona Lisa, Detroit producer Apollo Brown and Brooklyn rapper Joell Ortiz reunite for “About It”

On the unreleased record, the East Williamsburg MC drops introspective rhymes over Apollo’s tranquillizing production.

“Negative thoughts is like a disease / They creeping with ease I can see how an ex friend could get weak in their knees / And stand for nothing tell their self what they need to believe / But watch the real you reveal you we can see through the weeds / Greed is a muthafucker / Envy is a muthafucka / Jealousy is a muthafucka and its worse when they’re undercover.”

“About It” and the forthcoming “Master Peace” will be the two new additions that will be added to their repackaged Mona Lisa 5th Anniversary Edition on November 24. Mona Lisa was first released in 2018 featuring 11 tracks including collaborations from Royce 5’9″ and DJ Los.
